The Racking Crew is a musical duo catering to wine tasting events in the Paso Robles area. Our name acknowledges local wine making craftsmanship and the Los Angeles music group that played on hundreds of Top 40 hits in the 1960’s and 70’s, The Wrecking Crew. We too are experienced and schooled musicians providing high quality music in many genres, including Jazz, Country, Rock, Folk, and Blues. Heather Hansen sings and Cam Amos plays guitar and harmonica, using recorded backing tracks for drums, bass, and other instruments.

Heather Hansen has a Bachelors in Music, vocal performance, from The University of Redlands. She is classically trained and for some time sang in the operatic field. For 14 years she actively sang in The Lindy Sisters, a Southern California Jazz / Swing trio that has also toured the state and the East Coast of the U.S. The Lindy Sisters sing in the style of the Andrew Sisters of the 1940’s. Heather was a vocal instructor for 21 years, teaching ages as young as 6 to age 75. For 9 years she was an Adjunct Professor teaching voice lessons at California Baptist University in Riverside, California.
Cam Amos has been playing guitar and bass off and on since 1964, when his band started getting regular gigs. He’s played with both professional and non-professional musicians, including Ronnie Earl, Susan Tedeschi, and Chet McCracken. Ronnie Earl is a four (4) time national Blues Music Award winner of “Guitar Player of the Year”. Cam frequently played behind Susan Tedeschi when she was a student at Berklee College of Music, in Boston. He was one-half of the rhythm section of a Los Angeles band with drummer Chet McCracken, a Doobie Brother for several years. More recently, Cam has performed with some well-known professional Central Coast musicians.
